Evidence-Based Support for Tics, Hair Pulling, Skin Picking, and Repetitive Behaviors
I created Blueprint Therapy Services to help people who want a non-medication option for tics, hair pulling, skin picking, and other repetitive behaviors. I have been on all sides of this: first as someone living with tics, then as a parent, and now as a therapist. It can be scary at first, but when you find the solution, it is the best feeling in the world. I love this work because not only are these conditions treatable, but the therapy model is easy to understand. By the end of it, you will know the ins and outs of it so well that you can do it yourself whenever the urges or impulses arise.
I’ll help you better understand the behavior, develop new strategies, address the environmental triggers, and learn much-needed relaxation strategies. As a therapist, I work to treat the whole child, which means not only helping to change the behavior but also working on the shame, anxiety, fear, or social concerns that so often come with it. We’ll tackle the big questions, the heavy emotions, and the social stuff together. We'll work on everything from school support to building self-esteem, making sure these behaviors don't stand in the way of living a full and amazing life.
I love helping parents find the answers they need and seeing that "Aha!" moment when a kid realizes they can do this. You deserve to feel confident and in control, and I am here to help you get there. Whether we are navigating the school system or working through the social challenges that these behaviors bring, we will do it as a team. Let’s work together to find the clarity and relief you’ve been looking for.
